The university's collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) is being further strengthened

Avicenna Tajik State Medical University is among the most prestigious higher education institutions in healthcare within the country, fostering fruitful collaborations with domestic and international academic and research entities. One of its key development partners is the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), with which the university maintains comprehensive cooperation. As part of this partnership, the GIZ provided the Simulation Learning Center with educational materials on September 16, 2024.

- CPR training torso (10 units);

- Laryngoscope with 4 blades (5 units);

- Episiotomy suturing phantom (20 units);

- Clinical female pelvic simulator (20 units);

- Superimposed phantom for intramuscular and subcutaneous injection practice (10 units);

- Perineal reconstruction simulator (20 units);

- Advanced childbirth simulator (includes both a childbirth training model and a pregnant woman mannequin) (1 unit);

- Face and eye shields (25 units).

The available materials are supplied by the companies “Ka We model Kirchner & Wilhelm GmbH Co KG” and “Erler Zimmer” (Germany), “Laerdal” (Norway), and “Nasco Healthcare” and “Gaumard Scientific Co. Inc.” (USA), with their total estimated value amounting to approximately 240,000 euros.
