History of the department

Department of Psychiatry, Narcology named after prof. M.G. Gulyamova was organized in 1943. in the form of a course. The department was headed by:

MD, prof. Strelyukhin A.K. - 1944-1951.

Ph.D., Assoc. Fox F.M. - 1951-1956.

Ph.D., Assoc. Levinson A.Ya. - 1956-1960.

Corresponding Member USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, RAMS,

MD, prof. Gulyamov M.G. - 1960-1996.

I.O. Head Chair of Ph.D. Baibabaev A.A. - 1996-1997.

MD, prof. Sharapova N.M. - since 1997 to date.

Corresponding member is considered to be the founder of the department. USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, RAMS, Honored Scientist of the Tajik SSR, laureate of the State Prize named after Abouali ibni Sino in the field of science and technology, Professor Minkhod Gulyamovich Gulyamov.
