The role of youth in state development. Throughout history, young people have always been recognized as a powerful creative force, builders, and leaders of society. A nation that has knowledgeable, patriotic, and active youth will have a bright and stable future. In the Republic of Tajikistan, the issue of youth holds a key position, and the country’s state policy is precisely focused on their comprehensive development. This is because young people are not only the successors of historical and cultural values but also the creators of new achievements in all spheres of social life.

1. Youth as the Driving Force of the Economy

It is difficult to imagine modern society without young entrepreneurs and innovators. Today, Tajik youth, by establishing small and medium-sized enterprises, private companies, and farming households, not only create new jobs but also make a significant contribution to the development of the national economy.

2. Youth in Science and Education

Tajik youth study at both domestic and foreign universities and engage in scientific research and investigations. Every year, dozens of them participate in international Olympiads and competitions, achieving commendable results. This demonstrates that young people are capable of advancing national science and introducing new achievements into the life of society.

3. Youth in Culture and Arts

Culture, as a mirror of the nation, develops primarily through the creative activities of young people. Young poets, writers, artists, and craftsmen represent the image of modern Tajikistan on the international stage through their works.

4. Youth in Sports

Sports are one of the important factors in fostering a healthy lifestyle and national pride. Young Tajik athletes elevate the country's name with their achievements in regional and global competitions, proudly waving the national flag on the international stage.

5. Youth in Politics and Public Administration

With the support of the Leader of the Nation, today a large number of young people are active in government structures and leadership bodies. This indicates that young people are given serious consideration as a trusted generation and future builders of the state.

State Youth Policy

The Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, emphasizes:
"Youth are the driving force and future of the state. We must provide all opportunities for their education and development."

To achieve this goal, a number of programs and initiatives have been implemented, including:

·        The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On State Youth Policy";

·        The National Youth Development Program;

·        Establishment of youth centers in cities and districts;

·        Introduction of state grants and scholarships for talented youth;

·        Providing opportunities for education at leading foreign universities.

These measures are aimed at ensuring that young people, as a creative and future-building force, play a key role in the progress of the state.

Youth are considered the fundamental pillar of the state and the guarantors of its bright future. Every young person must understand that their responsibility goes beyond personal life — the progress of the nation and the state also depends on their knowledge, hard work, patriotism, and sense of responsibility. Only with active and constructive youth can Tajikistan move to a new stage of development.
