On April 18^th, 2024 at the SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” was held a scientific and practical seminar on "Modern methods of diabetes mellitus treatment" with the participation of endocrinologists and family doctors.

The seminar began with an introductory speech of the vice-rector for treatment works, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Qobilzoda Qobiljon Kenja, the essence and practical importance of this seminar for the development of the health care sector of the country and public health were revealed, analyzed and discussed.

Scientists of the branch, professors and teachers of the departments of endocrinology, family medicine, internal medicine and representatives of foreign organizations took part in the seminar and made speeches. Then the head of the department of endocrinology, candidate of medical sciences Niyazova Nargis Fazlikhudoevna and staff scientists of the department - candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Inoyatova N.A., candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Pirmatova M.A. and others made scientific reports and exchanged opinions.

The purpose of this seminar is to improve the professional skills of health workers of the country, thereby determining their role in the health of society.
