On October 17, 2026, on the basis of the S.I. “Istiqlol Medical Complex”, Dushanbe, under the leadership of the Ministry of health and social protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan, a scientific and practical seminar was held on the topic: "Modern approaches in nephrology and renal replacement therapy" with the participation of nephrologists and transplantologists, as well as assistants of the department of propaedeutics of children's diseases of the SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” - Giyosov A.A. and Rabieva M.S.

Invited expert Parshina Ekaterina Viktorovna - Candidate of medical sciences, nephrologist, head of the Department of nephrology and dialysis of the Clinic of high medical technologies named after N.I. Pirogov, assistant of the Department of propaedeutics of internal diseases of the St. Petersburg State university of the Russian Federation.

Parshina E.V. presented presentations on the following topical topics:

1. Mineral-bone disorders in CKD-MBD: current concept and pathogenesis.

2. Vitamin D in CKD: native and active – indications, drug selection and monitoring of therapy.

3. Calcium in CKD: who to prescribe, in what dose and how to monitor the safety of therapy.

4. Severe secondary hyperparathyroidism in CKD: modern approaches to treatment. Drug therapy, the use of calcimimetics and vitamin D, as well as surgical treatment tactics were considered.

5. Osteoporosis in CKD: diagnosis, assessment of fracture risk and modern approaches to treatment.

6. Correction of anemia in CKD: what's new in 2026?

In conclusion, clinical cases were analyzed and discussed. Many questions were asked on topical problems of nephrology, and a discussion was held.
