March 3^rd, 2023 in the information section on medicines of scientific, educational and production Center "Pharmacy" - Avicenna Tajik State Medical University with the participation of teachers of the department of pharmacology and graduates of the faculty of pharmacy conducted a training seminar on "International nonproprietary names, original medicines and generics". Before the beginning of the seminar, the participants' knowledge on the discussed topics was tested by means of testing. This seminar-training consisted of 2 lectures and lasted 2 academic hours. During the seminar the listeners were given detailed information about many years of research on treatment of original materials, advantages and disadvantages of generics and commercial drugs, requirements for international non-patent name.

During the seminar, students freely expressed their opinions and consolidated their knowledge in this area. At the end of the training, the level of knowledge of the participants was repeatedly checked with a test, and it was determined that conducting such trainings helps to increase the level of knowledge of the participants. At the end, each participant was provided with informational materials to disseminate accurate and reliable pharmaceutical information.
