At the department of children’s diseases №1, this year May 21^st was an educational event on the theme "International Children Protection Day", which was attended by students 22, Group 4 of the Medical Faculty, which is led by the department assistant Nasridinova N.N.

N.N. Nasridinova, assistant of the department, noted in his speech that Tajikistan, along with other countries, annually celebrates June 1 as the International Children's Protection Day. Today, the adoption of dozens of international documents, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the ILO Convention on the Elimination of Serious Forms of Child Labor and the like, provides a solid foundation for the protection and development of children. But many of the world's children still face serious economic and social problems, and not all of them have a decent life. According to the United Nations Children's Fund, more than half of the world's minors live in families where physical and psychological abuse take place, and one in ten children suffers daily abuse at the hands of adults. However, the students made presentations and expressed their opinions.
